• The Clover A1c System is a fully automated boronate affinity assay for thr determination of the percentage of haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c %) in human whole blood. The CLOVER A1c Test cartridge is composed of a Cartridge and a Reagent Pack containing the reagents necessary for the determination of haemoglobin A1c, with a collection leg for the blood sample collection.
• The Reagent Pack is pre-filled with reaction solution and washing solution. The reaction solution contains agents washing solution. the reaction solution contains agents that lyse erythrocytes and bind haemoglobin specifically, as well as boronate resin that binds cis-diols of glycated haemoglobin.
• Blood sample (4ul) is collected at thr collection leg ofthe Reagent Pack, then the Reagent Pack is insertedinto the Cartridge, where the blood is instantly lysedreleasing the haemoglobin and the boronate resin bindingthe glycated haemoglobin. the assembled Cartridge isinserted into the CLOVER A1c Analyzer and rotated so thatthe blood sample mixture is placed at the measurement zoneof the cartridge, where the amount of total haemoglobin inthe blood sample is measured by the reflectance of thephoto sensor LED (Light Emitting Diode) and PD (PhotoDiode).

The Harpenden Stadiometer is a counter recording instrument, with an effortless counter balanced movement. Its high speed Veeder-Root counter will give an accurate and direct reading of a subject's height, to the nearest millimeter over a range of 600 mm to 2100 mm.

The Stadiometer head-block can be adjusted vertically via miniature ball-bearing rollers in order to ensure a movement which is free yet without cross-play. This should not be moved faster than 30cm/sec.

The main frame of this instrument is rigidly made of light alloy angle. The Harpenden Stadiometer is meant to be mounted vertically to a wall with included adjustable wall brackets for mounting purposes.
